In yet another chapter in his remarkable servant leadership chronicles, President Lazarus Chakwera on Tuesday extended relief food distribution program to the people of Zomba Central South.
In Zomba Central South, the maize relief program targeted 800 household. There is an assurance that more maize will be sent to the area to curb food shortage.
MCP’s Director of International Affairs, who is also Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Patricia Nangozo-Kainga, witnessed the food distribution exercise and commended President Chakwera for his love for Malawians and continued pursuit for socio-economic development.
“The President is reaching out to all corners of Malawi with relief maize which is a testament of servant leadership,” said Nangozo-Kainga who is also shadow MP for the area .
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Chief Gomeza extolled President Chakwera for remembering the people of Zomba and highlighted that the people of Zomba acknowledge and are happy with the development happening in the district.
